Some agricultural chains in Muong Bam commune surveyed

A working delegation from Thuan Chau district and the Vietnam National University of Forestry (VNUF) inspected a pineapple growing area and surveyed an area expected to grow macadamia and some agricultural chains in Muong Bam commune on March 28.

The delegation works with Muong Bam commune’s authorities on surveying a Mong chicken raising project in the locality.

During the survey, a representative of the VNUF, assigned to implement the project, gave information about the National Target Program for Sustainable Poverty Reduction in the 2021-2025 period. Accordingly, in 2023, the unit will coordinate with Thuan Chau district and Muong Bam commune to support 60 poor households to raise Mong black chickens with a scale of 100 chickens per household.

The university will partner with specialized agencies of the district to help locals with breeding chickens, barns, food and vaccines; organize training courses on chicken raising techniques for supported households. They also committed to purchase locals’ chicken products.

The delegation visits the pineapple growing model of Dong Giao Foodstuff Export Joint Stock Company in Na Cau hamlet.

On this occasion, the delegation visited the pineapple growing model of Dong Giao Foodstuff Export Joint Stock Company in Na Cau hamlet and surveyed the location for implementing the Mong chicken raising model in Na Ta and Na Hat hamlets, Muong Bam commune.
