Son La Coffee Processing Factory to be put into operation

The Son La Coffee Processing Factory has completed the installation of production lines and will officially become operational on the occasion of the first Son La Coffee Festival 2023, ensuring the sale of products for farmers.

The factory was invested and built by the Son La Coffee Processing Joint Stock Company in Thong Nhat village, Muong Bon commune, Mai Son district, with a designed capacity of 50,000 tons of fresh coffee cherries per year. Covering nearly 4.2 hectares, the project includes a processing factory, a finished product warehouse, a coffee drying net house, a wastewater treatment area, a coffee drying yard and auxiliary works.

Notably, its wastewater treatment system has a capacity of 500cu.m per day and night, with treated wastewater meeting national technical standards for domestic use.
