Outstanding businesses, entrepreneurs honoured

On October 12, the provincial Business Association held a meeting to honour outstanding businesses and entrepreneurs on the occasion of the Vietnamese Entrepreneurs' Day, October 13.

At the meeting, delegates reviewed the tradition of the Vietnamese Entrepreneurs' Day on October 13 as well as evaluated the achievements and contributions of businesses and entrepreneurs to the development of Son La province. The local business community and entrepreneurs have always promoted the spirit of solidarity, the will to overcome difficulties, self-reliance and self-resilience; and exerted every effort to adapt to difficult circumstances to maintain production and business and ensure jobs for workers. The community is growing strongly in both quality and quantity, with suitable structure, scale, and business fields as well as increasing efficiency and competitiveness.

The province is now home to over 3,400 businesses, with a total registered capital of over 53.63 trillion VND (2.2 billion USD), annually contributing over 65% of total local budget revenue and creating jobs for hundreds of thousands of workers.

Provincial leaders congratulate the provincial Business Association on Vietnamese Entrepreneurs' Day, October 13.

In the coming time, the province's businesses and entrepreneurs will continue to innovate and be determined to overcome difficulties and do business effectively. They will implement good corporate culture and actively participate in social security programmes, contributing to realising the goal of developing Son La province in a green, fast and sustainable manner.
