Son La invests in rural trade infrastructure

So far, Son La province has paid due attention to the rural trade infrastructure system, with seven wholesale markets built at a total cost of 14.3 billion VND (572,630 USD) in 2022-2023.

Two communal markets have been repaired and upgraded, while land cleared to build three other communal markets. Traditional markets in highland communes and points of sale for agricultural and forestry products have been maintained.

Now the whole province has 187 out of 188 communes meeting criterion No. 7 on rural trade infrastructure; all 12 districts and city with venues showcasing local OCOP (One Commune One Product) products.
