Son La province sells 213,000 tonnes of fruits

Son La has 83,757 hectares of fruit and hawthorn trees, of them 63,207 hectares harvestable with an estimated output of over 379,000 tonnes.

The province has sold nearly 213,000 tonnes of fruits of all kinds so far this year, worth over 2.76 trillion VND (109.94 million USD), mainly strawberry, banana, early-ripening plum and longan, and mango.

Most of them were purchased by businesses and cooperative to deliver to supermarkets and clean fruit stores in provinces and cities across the country, as well as shipped abroad.
