Son La sells nearly 18,000 tonnes of plums

Since the beginning of the crop, Son La province has sold nearly 18,000 tonnes of plums in the domestic market, with an estimated value of over 383 billion VND (15 million USD).

The province is coordinating with Saigon Co.op to promote and sell Son La plums, agricultural products, and OCOP (One Commune One Product) items at Saigon Co.op's distribution system in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City.

Son La province boasts more than 12,400 hectares of plums of all kinds, mainly in Moc Chau, Yen Chau and Mai Son districts and Son La city. The plum output in 2024 is expected to reach over 78,200 tonnes.
