Son La’s transport revenue hits 270 billion VND in July

Son La province posted over 270 billion VND (11.3 million USD) in revenue from passenger and cargo transport and support services in July, up 23% over the same period last year.

Of which, passenger transport revenue hit nearly 40 billion VND, with 352,000 turns of passengers; while 553,000 tonnes of goods were transported, generating over 224 billion VND in revenue. Revenue from transportation support services, goods loading and unloading activities was reached 8 billion VND.

The transport revenue increased as the good control of Covid-19 pandemic pushed up demand for travel and tourism. The demand for transportation of goods in service of production and business surged, while the smooth transportation of passengers and goods was ensured.
