The event brings together 270 climbers from various localities and several countries, including France and Australia, competing across distances of 3.5 km, 15 km, and 25 km.
On the first day of competition, climbers conquered Ta Rong peak - the opening route featuring steep terrain at an altitude of around 2,700 metres above sea level, requiring both strong endurance and technical skill.
On March 22, they will continue their journey, successively conquering Ta Tao, Hau Na Ta and Ta De Do peaks - routes showcasing the pristine and majestic beauty of the highlands of Ngoc Chien.
Throughout the race, athletes navigated challenging terrain, including rugged trails and steep mountain slopes. Along the routes, hawthorn blossoms blanketed the hillsides in white, creating a poetic landscape, while from higher vantage points, Ngoc Chien unfolded in both majestic and picturesque beauty. Competitors completed their respective distances, demonstrating endurance and a strong spirit of determination.
The race is described as an engaging sporting event that helps promote physical exercise among the public in response to the campaign “All people exercise following the example of President Ho Chi Minh.” At the same time, it contributes to promoting the natural beauty, cultural identity, and tourism potential of Ngoc Chien to both domestic and international friends.
