Dinh Thi Bich Thao, member of the Standing Board of the provincial Party Committee, head of the provincial Party Committee's Commission for Information and Education and head of the organising board, on June 25 launched a contest on learning about and disseminating digital transformation in Son La province in 2024.

The launching ceremony of the contest on learning about and disseminating digital transformation in Son La province in 2024.

Attending the hybrid launching ceremony were Hoang Quoc Khanh, Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial People's Committee; Dang Ngoc Hau, Vice Chairman of the provincial People's Committee; and leaders of departments, agencies and localities in the province.

The contest aims to raise public awareness of the core and main contents, new points about the Party's guidelines and policies, and the State's laws in digital transformation.

With the theme "Digitalisation of economic sectors, digital governance, digital data", the contest includes creating dissemination video clips about digital transformation work at agencies, units and localities; as well as knowledge, skills, experience, solutions, good and creative practices on digital transformation associated with the contest theme.

The online contest includes two rounds. In the preliminary round, the standing agency of the contest - the provincial Party Committee's Commission for Information and Education - pre-evaluates the entries, and selects those that ensure content, form, and quality to participate in the final round. In the final round, the jury evaluates the works to choose the best ones for awarding. The works participating in the final round are posted on a Facebook page to enhance dissemination on digital transformation in Son La province.

The contest will last to August 30, 2024 and the results will be announced on National Digital Transformation Day 2024 (October 10).
