Provincial Steering Committee for 2025 High School Graduation Exam convenes meeting

Vice Chairman of the provincial People's Committee Le Hong Minh, who is head of the provincial Steering Committee for the 2025 High School Graduation Exam, chaired an online meeting of the steering committee on May 6.

At the meeting, a leader of the provincial Department of Education and Training reported on the preparation work. Accordingly, the department has implemented solutions to improve the quality of teaching and learning for 12th graders; coordinated with organisations and unions to encourage students to go to school to review and prepare for the exam. It has also directed the review of conditions on facilities and personnel; organised inspections; and carried out measures to achieve the graduation rate target set for this academic year.

Representatives from other departments, sectors, and localities also reported on plans to implement tasks related to the organisation work according to their assigned functions and tasks; and shared difficulties and obstacles facing them; and discussed and agreed on the issuance of the steering committee’s working regulations.

Addressing the event, Minh requested the Department of Education and Training to acquire the opinions of steering committee members, complete the necessary contents, and submit them to him for signing an implementation plan. He also called for an organisation plan to ensure that the exam takes place effectively.

Steering committee members and localities must well perform the assigned tasks, and propose solutions to overcome difficulties and problems arising during the implementation process, he added.
