The Vietnam Youth Federation of Thuan Chau district held its sixth congress for the 2024-2029 tenure on July 17-18, bringing together 121 delegates representing more than 7,000 youths across the locality.

The trade union of Son La province’s health sector on July 11 held a conference to honour its outstanding officials and members, towards the 95th founding anniversary of the Vietnam Trade Union (July 28, 1929 - 2024).

The Agricultural Trade Promotion Center under the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development coordinated with the Son La provincial Farmers' Association and the Yen Chau district People's Committee in organising the "Doctor of Agronomy" programme in Yen Chau district on July 11.

On July 1, the Police Division of Administrative Management of Social Order under the provincial Department of Public Security and the police forces of districts and Son La city simultaneously began the implementation of the new Law on Citizen Identification and issuing ID cards for residents in the province.

Joining the whole country, Son La province on July 1 simultaneously held ceremonies to launch forces participating in the protection of security and order at the grassroots level in districts and Son La city.

Son La province attended an online scientific seminar on two works of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong on culture and foreign affairs jointly held by the Ministry of Public Security and the Su That (Truth) National Political Publishing House on June 28.

As of June 27, all localities in Son La province completed the organisation of their Vietnam Fatherland Front congresses for the 2024-2029 term.
