The provincial Youth Union on March 24 held a festival and launched a five-week emulation campaign for children across Son La province at the Moc Ly Primary School in Moc Chau township on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30).

The provincial Department of Education and Training, in collaboration with the provincial Military Command, opened the seventh national defence, security education sports festival for high school students for the 2024–2025 academic year at Regiment 754 on March 24.

The Son La provincial Youth Union, in collaboration with the youth unions of the Ministry of Finance, the Vietnam Airlines Corporation, the Vietnam Oil and Gas Group, the Vietnam National Cai Luong (reformed opera) Theatre, on March 23 launched the "Volunteering to build new-style rural areas" Day and the first "Green Sunday" in Youth Month 2025.
