More than 50 artisans and amateur artists from Phong, Bang Da and Pat Nong hamlets took part in the programme. The teams competed in three categories: Traditional crafts, singing, and folk games.
The competition on traditional crafts featured three teams from Phong, Bang Da and Pat Nong hamlets. During the 15-minute competition, male contestants showcased their basket-weaving skills, while the female competed in “chap cut pieu,” a traditional handicraft closely associated with the cultural life of the Thai ethnic community.
The competition tested the contestants’ dexterity, meticulousness and craftsmanship while honouring traditional handicrafts that have been preserved and passed down through generations.
The gameshow provided a lively and friendly platform for entertainment while helping strengthen community ties, foster pride in local cultural heritage, and raise awareness of the importance of preserving traditional crafts in contemporary life.
