The final round saw 13 contestants from communes in Van Ho district. Previously, the candidates went through a preliminary round on March 14 to select outstanding beauties for the final round. Contestants are from 17 to no more than 25 years old, have graduated from high school or are currently studying in high school, and have good morality, good look, bravery, confidence, and ability to perform on stage.
At the final night, 13 contestants went through two mandatory competitions. In the Ao dai (long dress) competition, contestants wore traditional Ao dai, showing confidence on stage, helping honour the traditional Vietnamese dress.
In the ethnic costume and talent competitions, contestants freely chose the traditional costume of one of the ethnic groups in the northwestern region such as Thai, Dao, Mong, Kinh and Muong to perform with the music and narration to introduce the beauty and meaning of the outfit. They also showed off their talents, such as dancing, singing, and presentation.
After two parts, the jury selected five contestants with the highest total scores to enter the behavioural interview. In this round, the girls drew questions, answered, and demonstrated their knowledge and understanding of contents related to preserving and promoting ethnic cultural values and developing community-based tourism and agricultural economy in rural areas.
Interwoven between the competitions were cultural exchange performances, creating a cheerful and vibrant atmosphere, attracting a large number of audiences to watch and cheer for the contestants.
Finally, Ha To Uyen from Suoi Bang commune won the "Ban Flower Beauty" award. The organising board also honoured the first and second runners-up with high achievements at the contest and additional prizes: The beauty with the best response, the beauty with the most beautiful face, the best ethnic costume performer, and the beauty winning the talent competition.
