Specifically, the police forces organised 23 sessions to introduce fire prevention and fighting and rescue skills at the People's Committees of communes and wards, medical stations, and cultural houses, with the participation of over 6,200 officials, people and students.
Within the framework of the programme, officials, people, and students were informed by the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police force about the law and measures to ensure fire prevention and rescue safety; provided with skills to handle fires and explosions and escape when a fire occurs in households and crowded places. They were introduced to the inter-family fire safety team and public firefighting models, and the movement "My house has a fire extinguisher".
In addition, participants also practiced using portable fire extinguishers to stamp out fires caused by gas leaks and petrol fires; using escape ladders; rescuing others; escaping from a smoky environment; and first aid techniques.
