Participating in this year's tournament are 11 delegations with 211 players from the Divisions of Education and Training of districts and schools under the provincial Department of Education and Training. They are divided into eight youth teams, six boys’ teams and three teenage girls' teams. Male teams will complete in groups to select those with the best achievements for the semi-finals and finals while female teams will follow a round-robin format to determine winners.
The tournament aims to encourage and motivate teenagers and children to actively practice sports to improve their health to study well. Immediately after the opening ceremony, many exciting and fierce competitions took place, attracting a large number of fans to watch and cheer.
The tournament will last until December 3 at the provincial Sports Training and Competition Center.
