Artisans and community cultural troupes performed six traditional Xoe dances of the Thai ethnic group, along with a variety of folk-inspired performances reflecting local cultural identity. Children also eagerly took part in lively acts, creating a festive and vibrant atmosphere.

In addition to the performances, the programme offered interactive activities such as Xoe dancing, group dance routines, Xoe dance instruction, Pieu scarf embroidery, and folk games. These experiences allowed residents and visitors to immerse themselves in Thai culture, showcased through stilt houses, costume and handicraft displays, and local culinary specialties.

The programme features folk games.
The Thai Xoe dance of four Northwestern provinces, including Son La, was recognised by UNESCO as an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity in 2022. The programme is part of educational and outreach activities organised by the provincial museum and library to help preserve, promote, and celebrate the unique cultural heritage of the Thai people.
