Mai Son youth celebrate Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union's founding day

The Mai Son district Youth Union held a ceremony on March 16 to celebrate the 94th founding anniversary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (HCYU) (March 26, 1931 – 2025).

At the ceremony marking the 94th founding anniversary the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union.

At the event, generations of the district Youth Union’s leaders and members reviewed the tradition of the HCYU over the past 94 years.

Continuing the glorious tradition of the HCYU, Mai Son youth have promoted the proactiveness, creativity, and vanguard spirit in participating in socio-economic development, volunteering for the community, and being ready to safeguard the Fatherland.


Since 2023, they have carried out 19 youth projects with a total value of nearly 277 million VND (10,800 USD) across the district; and implemented 32 youth tasks with a total budget of nearly 286 million VND. They also participated in building a bridge across Huoi Ba stream in Y Luong hamlet, Chieng Luong commune, at a cost of 1.1 billion VND; and launched a campaign to call for young people to join hands in building new-style rural areas, attracting the participation of 1,430 youth union members across the district. They have also contributed to cleaning the environment; and planted 8,540 new trees of all kinds.
