Provincial leaders deliver Party membership badges in Quynh Nhai, Mai Son districts

The Quynh Nhai district Party Committee on May 14 held a ceremony to award and posthumously award 65-year and 60-year Party membership badges to veteran Party members on the threshold of President Ho Chi Minh’s 135th birth anniversary (May 19).

At the event, Lo Minh Hung, Standing Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee, presented the 65-year Party membership badge to Lo Thi Coi, a member of the Party Cell of Residential Area 3; and 60-year badges to Dieu Thi Dom and Hoang Thi Pung, also from the Party Cell of Residential Area 3. A 60-year Party badge was posthumously awarded to Trieu Thi Viet Doan from the Party Cell of Residential Area 2, under the Party Organisation of Muong Giang town.

Hung acknowledged the contributions of Party members to the cause of national construction, defence, and development in general, as well as to the development and protection of Son La province and Quynh Nhai district in particular. He expressed his hope that Party members would continue to set a good example, uphold and promote the revolutionary qualities and integrity of Party members, and encourage their families and communities to effectively implement the Party’s guidelines, the State’s policies and laws, and local regulations. He also called on them to actively contribute to Party and government building, and to always be shining examples for younger generations to follow.

On the occasion, the Party Organisation of Quynh Nhai district presented or posthumously awarded badges to 39 Party members in recognition of their 30 to 65 years of Party membership.

The same day, the Standing Board of the Mai Son district Party Committee held a ceremony to present the Party membership badges to local Party members.

In this round, the district Party Committee awarded or posthumously awarded the badges to 155 Party members, including one with 70 years of Party membership, three with 65 years, six with 60 years; nine with 55 years, two with 50 years, 25 with 45 years, 36 with 40 years, 72 with 30 years, and one posthumously awarded the 60-year badge.

Speaking at the ceremony, Hung acknowledged the contributions and dedication of the Party members to the revolutionary cause of the Party. He expressed his hope that they would continue to uphold the revolutionary spirit, promote the Party’s traditions and their personal experience, and contribute to building a pure and strong Party.

He also encouraged them to take part in educating the younger generation about revolutionary traditions, to inspire their children and grandchildren to comply with the Party’s guidelines and the State’s policies and laws, and to mobilise families and local communities to help develop bright, green, clean and beautiful urban infrastructure while fostering a civilised lifestyle.
