Provincial Party leader inspects preparations for primary-secondary boarding schools in border communes

Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Hoang Quoc Khanh on September 4 inspected preparations for the construction of combined primary-secondary boarding schools in the border communes of Yen Son, Long Phieng, and Phieng Pan.

Accompanying him were Nguyen Minh Tien, Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee, and leaders from the Department of Construction and the Department of Education and Training.

In the communes, the provincial Party chief reviewed the implementation of steps related to project investment, site clearance, and the completion of project documentation. Local authorities reported on the progress made in overcoming difficulties in land allocation, shortening the timeline, and meeting requirements for site clearance, as well as presenting specific implementation plans to ensure consistency and compliance with regulations.

Following the on-site inspection, Khanh praised the proactive approach and active involvement of the localities in implementing the policy of constructing combined primary-secondary boarding schools.

He urged the communes to continue working closely with relevant provincial departments and agencies to complete all necessary documents and investment procedures in accordance with regulations. He also emphasized the importance of strengthening public communication and mobilization efforts to gain community support, thereby ensuring smooth site clearance processes.

In particular, he stressed that during the design and construction phases, attention must be paid to ensuring consistency, scientific planning, compliance with applicable standards and regulations, and maximizing the long-term functionality of the facilities to effectively serve the educational development needs of these border communes.
