
After review and assessment, the city identified 63 households in need of housing support, including 26 poor households, 22 near-poor families, and 15 households of people who rendered the service to the revolution. To date, it has completed the repair and construction of 30 out of the 63 houses. The communes and wards are currently supporting the repair and construction of 28 houses, with the goal of completing them before May 19, 2025.
Speaking at the event, Chien requested that the communes and wards continue to prioritize support for eliminating temporary housing for families of revolution contributors, as well as poor and near-poor households. He urged further efforts to mobilise all available resources to speed up the removal of makeshift houses, ensuring the strict implementation in accordance with regulations and policies. He also recommended the formation of inspection teams and the inauguration of houses that have been completed or repaired, aiming to meet the set timeline.
