The meeting was connected online to seven border communes: Muong Leo, Muong Lan, Sop Cop, Muong Hung, Chieng Khoong, Chieng Khuong, and Phieng Pan.

At the event, provincial departments and agencies reported on the construction progress of inter-level boarding school projects in the border communes; supervision of contractor selection for project bidding packages; progress in appraising detailed construction design dossiers following the basic design stage; as well as existing difficulties, obstacles, and proposals within their assigned functions and authority. 

Representatives of the border communes reported on progress and results related to site clearance, land recovery, and approval of compensation for assets within the project area.

Participants discussed and clarified several challenges and obstacles, and proposed solutions to ensure construction progress while complying with legal regulations.

Speaking at the meeting, Vice Chairman Tien requested departments, sectors, and localities continue to uphold a strong sense of responsibility in implementing the inter-level boarding school projects in line with the guidelines and directions of the central and provincial authorities. 

Border communes were urged to expedite compensation and site clearance for affected households, ensuring completion before the Lunar New Year (Tet) 2026. The Department of Construction was tasked with coordinating with project investors and design consultants to address difficulties and accelerate the completion of design consultancy work in accordance with regulations. 

Construction contractors were instructed to strengthen occupational safety management, ensure construction quality, and mobilisse sufficient manpower and equipment to keep the projects on schedule.
