Son La gives in-principle approval to Dream Plastic Mai Son Factory project

Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Thanh Cong on August 22 chaired a conference to present the investment policy and investor approvals to the Dream Plastic Mai Son Factory project.

At the event, the provincial Industrial Parks Authority officially announced the decisions approving both the investment policy and the investor for the project, developed by Dream Plastic Co., Ltd., headquartered in Binh Binh province. It will be located on Lot CN2.7 in the Mai Son Industrial Park in Chieng Mung commune.

The factory will manufacture children's toys and plastic products, with a designed capacity of 20 million units per year. The total investment is 7 million USD, including 3 million USD in equity and 4 million USD in mobilised capital. The project will occupy 11,733 square meters and is set to operate for 50 years. The plant is expected to become fully operational by March 2026.

Speaking at the conference, Cong emphasised that the Dream Plastic Mai Son project aligns with the province’s industrial development orientation, contributing to generating jobs, increasing local budget revenue, and promoting economic restructuring. He also reaffirmed the province’s commitment to supporting investors, instructing the Industrial Parks Authority to facilitate legal procedures and help accelerate project implementation.

A representative from Dream Plastic Co., Ltd. expressed sincere thanks to provincial leaders, the Industrial Parks Authority and relevant departments for their support throughout the investment process. The company pledged to deliver the project on schedule and ensure compliance with laws, quality, economic efficiency, job creation, and local development. It also committed to environmental protection, occupational safety, and tax obligations.
