At the meeting to prepare the necessary conditions for the new academic year and organise the opening ceremony for the 2025-2026 school year.

In the 2025-2026 academic year, the province has 609 educational institutions from preschool to high school levels, with nearly 380,000 students. The provincial Department of Education and Training has coordinated with commune and ward-level People's Committees to inspect and review facilities, expedite repair and maintenance work, and procure additional teaching equipment.

Preparations have also been made for boarding and semi-boarding students in terms of meals and accommodations; funding has been allocated sufficiently to schools, and policies and allowances for teachers and students have been implemented fully and in a timely manner. Schools affected by natural disasters and floods have received support from local Party committees and authorities, ensuring that basic conditions are in place to welcome students back to school.

To carefully prepare for the opening ceremony of the new school year, the Department of Education and Training has directed schools across the province to equip classrooms with televisions and LED screens so that teachers and students can follow the national opening ceremony livestream from Hanoi. Infrastructure and internet connectivity are also being ensured for the provincial livestream point at Le Quy Don Secondary School in To Hieu ward.

Speaking at the meeting, Vice Chairman Hau requested that the Department of Education and Training continue to coordinate with local authorities to review and complete infrastructure repairs before the new school year begins; check internet connectivity and necessary equipment in accordance with the Ministry of Education and Training's guidance; and proactively prepare response plans in case of adverse weather conditions, such as natural disasters or storms.

He emphasised that the opening ceremony should be concise, solemn, and cost-effective, creating a joyful and encouraging atmosphere to motivate teachers and students throughout the province as they enter the new academic year.
