Actors and actresses of the provincial Music and Dance Theater and writers and artists of the Vietnam Union of Literature and Arts Associations brought to the programme 17 unique music and dance performances praising the historical significance and epochal stature of the Dien Bien Phu victory of the Vietnam People's Army; honouring revolutionary heroism, the will to fight and win, and the heroic sacrifices of generations of soldiers to regain national independence and freedom. The programme attracted a large number of officers, soldiers and people in Son La city.

The programme "Through the Northwest - Back to Dien Bien" of the Vietnam Union of Literature and Arts Associations takes place from April 15 to 21, aiming to help writers and artists visit many places and historical relic sites, thereby inspiring them to create high-quality works on the topic of Dien Bien Phu.
