
At the Thai ethnic cultural experience programme.
The event brought together nearly 100 artisans and amateur performers from local cultural clubs and art troupes in Chieng Coi ward, along with students and teachers from Hua La Secondary School and members of youth talent clubs under the provincial Youth Activity Centre.

Throughout the programme, participants were treated to vibrant performances, including traditional Xoe Thai dances, folk dances, and dynamic blends of traditional and modern art, showcasing the rich cultural identity of the Thai people.


The event also featured a wide range of engaging cultural activities such as Xoe dance instruction, the “Dance of Solidarity”, bamboo pole dancing, and traditional folk games like stilt walking and “to mak le”.
Visitors also explored a reconstructed Thai cultural space, complete with a stilt house, traditional handicrafts, brocade textiles, and the distinctive Pieu scarves, vividly recreating the heritage of the Thai ethnic community.


Thanks to its lively activities and unique cultural displays, the half-day programme attracted over 700 residents and visitors, who came to experience and immerse themselves in the Thai cultural atmosphere.
The event not only celebrated and promoted the cultural identity of the Thai ethnic group but also contributed to raising public awareness, especially among the younger generation, about the importance of preserving and honouring Vietnam’s intangible cultural heritage.
