The 14-ha spiritual and cultural tourist site is located on the Son La hydropower reservoir, with its three sides facing the Da River. Linh Son - Thuy Tu and Nang Han Temples were moved and restored in October 2011, and inaugurated in May 2012 on the basis of sacred artifacts from a temple worshiping the gods of river and mountain established before the 17th century in Muong Chien hamlet, Muong Chien commune. A Bodhisattva statue was inaugurated in November 2020.

In addition, the Trung (Middle), Thuong (Uppper) and Ha (Lower) pagodas, tower and auxiliary items were built, meeting the needs of learning about the culture, beliefs and religious activities of local people and visitors, thus promoting values and positive factors in religious culture toward goodness, humanity, and good secular and religious life.
