Muong La district’s Hawthorn flower festival certified for copyright registration

The Copyright Office under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has just certified copyright registration for the Son Tra (Hawthorn) Flower Festival by the People's Committee of Muong La district, Son La province.

The certification asserts the sovereignty that no one may illegally use and copy the festival of the People's Committee of Muong La district.

The festival is held annually in March in the district’s Ngoc Chien commune. It features activities to contemplate Hawthorn flower and enjoy art programmes, agricultural products, foods, and many cultural and sports activities. In addition to honouring the beauty of Hawthorn flower, the festival also aims to promote and introduce the image and cultural beauty of Muong La district with unique and distinctive products to domestic and international tourists.
