The contest featured 18 contestants from Kim Bon, Suoi Bau, and Suoi To communes. They competed in two performance rounds: traditional and modernised ethnic costumes.
In the traditional attire segment, contestants confidently presented original Mong ethnic outfits adorned with subtle and elegant patterns. Their graceful and delicate movements highlighted the captivating charm and allure of the traditional costumes.
In the modernised attire segment, contestants showcased vibrant Mong ethnic outfits featuring bright colours such as red, green, and yellow. The ensembles included multiple layers, from short jackets and long skirts to headscarves, all intricately embroidered with diverse patterns while preserving the essence of traditional ethnic beauty.
The contest aimed to honour the elegance of Mong ethnic women, contributing to the preservation, restoration, and promotion of the rich traditional values of Mong attire and culture. It also provided a platform for women to connect, exchange experience, and enhance their social standing.
The organising board presented two A prizes and eight B prizes to the winners of the traditional and modernised attire categories.
