The programme attracted more than 1,000 officials, teachers and students from schools in Yen Chau district.
Launching the Lifelong Learning Week 2024, the department asked schools to actively implement effectively the "Teach well, learn well" emulation movement; promote the application of information technology in teaching and learning activities; and create a friendly learning space and best conditions for teachers and students to utilise useful resources and improve the quality of education.
At the programme, students demonstrated their talent and creativity via a book arrangement competition and took part in the "Ring the Golden Bell" contest to show knowledge and understanding.
Also at the event, the provincial Library introduced nearly 4,000 books with diverse topics in many fields and served readers with mobile libraries, creating an open space that helps teachers and students have the opportunity to access good and new books.
On this occasion, the provincial Study Promotion Association awarded 10 scholarships to 10 disadvantaged students with outstanding academic performance in the district.
