Activities respond to Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day 2024

The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism coordinated with Yen Chau district in organising a book exhibition and other activities on April 6 at the Yen Chau Town Primary School to celebrate Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day (April 21) and World Book and Copyright Day (March 23), and launch the Lifelong Learning Week 2024.

The programme attracted more than 1,000 officials, teachers and students from schools in Yen Chau district.

Launching the Lifelong Learning Week 2024, the department asked schools to actively implement effectively the "Teach well, learn well" emulation movement; promote the application of information technology in teaching and learning activities; and create a friendly learning space and best conditions for teachers and students to utilise useful resources and improve the quality of education.

At the programme, students demonstrated their talent and creativity via a book arrangement competition and took part in the "Ring the Golden Bell" contest to show knowledge and understanding.
