At the event, delegates and youth union members reviewed the proud tradition of the HCYU. Over the past 95 years, the Youth Union has consistently served as a pioneering revolutionary force and a reliable reserve of the Party, demonstrating resilience, volunteerism, diligence, and creativity, and contributing to the building and safeguarding of the Fatherland.

In recent years, Border Guard youth have made a lasting impression on local communities through a wide range of meaningful movements, initiatives, and social welfare programmes. Notable examples include “accompanying children to school” and “adopted children of border posts.” In terms of economic development, young members at grassroots units have actively guided local people in restructuring crops and livestock, thereby contributing to sustainable poverty reduction. In the fight against crime, they have shown great courage in confronting dangers to dismantle drug trafficking and smuggling rings, thus helping maintain peace and security along the border.

As part of the commemorative activities, the provincial Border Guard Command organised traditional sports exchanges, fostering a vibrant and united atmosphere and motivating officers and soldiers to excelently fulfil their assigned tasks.
