Seminar highlights role of preschool education in lifelong learning

The People's Committee of Son La city on October 7 organised a seminar titled "The role of preschool education in lifelong learning." The event was attended by city leaders and 235 management staff and teachers from 20 kindergartens and one institution offering preschool education in the city.

Educational expert Tong Lien Anh speaks at the seminar.

At the event, education experts highlighted the significance of lifelong learning in the context of the 4.0 technology revolution. Participants were guided how to build self-learning capabilities and lifelong learning grounded in preschool education, the Laulau Learning method (art-based learning for children aged 1-9) and the SongDrawing method.

The discussions focused on various topics, including developing self-learning and lifelong learning skills with preschool education as a foundation, educational methods currently implemented in the locality, and encouraging children to engage in learning through extracurricular activities and outdoor education.

Delegates exchange views at the seminar.

In the near future, Son La city will be the first locality in Vietnam to receive a package of educational development support from Finland.

This seminar marked the beginning of the implementation of the Laulau Learning method in Son La, which is expected to contribute to creating a happy learning environment, enhancing the quality of preschool education, and fostering a spirit of lifelong learning right from the first level of education.
