In the previous school year, with high determination and joint efforts, the provincial education and training sector achieved many important results. To date, 437 out of 596 schools have met national standards, exceeding the target by over 3% and increasing by 150 schools compared to the beginning of the term. At present, 73.3% of classrooms meet permanent standards. The whole province has achieved literacy eradication, primary education universalisation, and level-2 universalisation of secondary education.
In the 2025 high school graduation exam, the provincial graduation rate reached 99.59%, fulfilling the set target. Thirty-four students won prizes in the national exam for excellent students in the 2024-2025 school year, up 14 prizes compared to the previous year. Digital transformation in management and teaching also made significant progress, with 95% of teachers mastering basic IT applications in lesson preparation; 100% of schools gaining Internet access; and 100% of student records being assigned a unique identification code throughout their learning process, paving the way for the electronic transcript system.
For the new academic year, the Department of Education and Training will focus on completing mechanisms and policies, and renewing education management; promoting digital transformation and administrative reform; and improving comprehensive education quality across all levels. Attention will also be paid to standardising and enhancing the quality of teachers and managers; strengthening international integration; and boosting education communication, thereby contributing to the development of a high-quality workforce for the province and the country.
