Training on firefighting, rescue organised for school fire prevention forces

Son La city’s police on December 7 organised a training course on fire fighting and prevention and rescue for nearly 140 people from fire prevention and rescue forces at 10 primary schools in the city.

The trainees were provided with knowledge on legal documents, decrees, and circulars on fire fighting and prevention and rescue, and instructed on how to conduct first aid, and use powder and gas fire extinguishers.

Through training, the grassroots fire prevention and fighting forces at schools were equipped with basic knowledge and skills on fire fighting and prevention and search and rescue, promptly handling fire, explosion and incident situations, preventing fires, explosions and major incidents that harm people and property at schools.

The training programme continues to be organised for grassroots fire prevention and fighting forces at the remaining 30 schools in the city from December 7 to December 15.
