Training on start-up knowledge, skills for ethnic minority students

The provincial Youth Union on November 23 organised a training conference on start-up knowledge and skills for ethnic minority students in 2025, drawing 100 students from Tay Bac University and Son La College.

During the training session, students were taught by lecturers from IVIET Enterprise Development Solution Co., Ltd. and Hanoi College of Commerce and Tourism about essential knowledge on applying digital transformation in entrepreneurship, as well as starting businesses in commercial and tourism services in Son La province.

The training aimed to enhance students’ knowledge of entrepreneurship foundations and equip them with practical skills such as creative thinking, business model development, financial management, choosing sectors for start-ups, and presentation/fundraising skills.

It also sought to improve youth digital competence for grasping market trends, using content creation tools, AI, and multi-channel marketing to effectively introduce and promote products. The programme encouraged the proactive and creative role of youth in making the most of cultural identity and local resources to promote products and develop the local economy.
