Long Sap-Pahang international border gate pair to be inaugurated on November 19.

A national ceremony to launch the pair of Long Sap-Pahang International Border Gates will be co-hosted by Son La province of Vietnam and Laos’ Houaphanh province on November 19.

The content was reached by the Son La and Houaphanh delegations during their talks on November 11 at the Long Sap border gate joint control station.

The Son La delegation was led by Trang Thi Xuan, member of the Standing Board of the Party Committee and Permanent Vice Chairwoman of the People's Committee; while the Houaphanh delegation was headed by member of the Party Committee’s Standing Committee, and Deputy Governor Phutphan Keovongxay.

The working delegations of Son La and Houaphanh provinces survey the location for the ceremony at the Long Sap-Pahang International Border Gates (border marker 255).

The two sides agreed that at the launch ceremony, an art programme will be held, featuring the announcement of the Government resolution on the establishment of the border gate pair, the ribbon-cutting ceremony, the demonstration of immigration and import-export activities, and the display and promotion of OCOP (One Commune One Product) items and safe agricultural products.
