Accordingly, the project area covers Phieng Cai hamlet in Long Sap commune, with a total area of 10 hectares. The project features a national gate and a checkpoint, parking areas for import and export vehicles, a border commercial centre, a hotel area, and office area in service of border gate area management.

Between 2024 and 2009, priority will be given to the construction of the national gate and the checkpoint, while the remaining items will be built in the next phase. The funding will come from the State budget, social sources and others./.
