Mai Son district expands fruit growing area

Mai Son district boasts 11,500 hectares of fruit. To improve productivity and product quality, local authorities have prioritised initiatives to strengthen linkages and apply scientific and technological advances in production.

The district has also guided local residents to adopt high-tech agricultural models.

High-tech farming methods have been applied to 4,617 hectares, with 2,245 hectares under organic practices. The district boasts 46 planting area codes, covering 1,217 hectares; and five packing facilities for export. Income per hectare ranges from 500 million VND (19,727 USD) to 1 billion VND.
