Of the medium and small-scale projects, 17 have been put into operation with a total capacity of 192 MW, and an estimated annual electricity production of around 650 million kWh. 

Since the beginning of this year, the district has coordinated with the provincial Department of Industry and Trade to organize 10 inspections of medium and small hydropower plants, focusing on reservoir operation and dam safety.
