With the theme "Transparent Information - Responsible Consumption," the parade aimed to promote and raise public awareness about consumer protection laws, as well as the purpose, significance, and importance of protecting consumer rights.

In line with the provision of transparent information by businesses and individuals offering goods and services, consumers are encouraged to choose environmentally-friendly products, avoid using plastic bags, and prioritise locally produced goods. Consumers are also urged to adopt responsible consumption habits, such as avoiding wastefulness in purchasing as well as in using energy resources like electricity and water.

In 2025, in response to Vietnam Consumer Rights Day 2025, the Son La provincial Department of Industry and Trade has organised various activities to raise awareness of policies and laws protecting consumer rights. Banners and slogans are displayed at the headquarters of state agencies, organisations, production establishments, businesses, and stores. Additionally, the department has encouraged and supported enterprises and business households in carrying out trade promotion activities to enhance consumer rights and boost the production and business operations of enterprises.
