Provincial Youth Union livestreams OCOP market

The provincial Youth Union on November 16 organized an event to promote the One Commune One Product (OCOP) products made by local youth, and a livestream of an OCOP market.

The event was attended by representatives of the provincial Youth Union, businesses, supporting organizations, and TikTok content creators from various provinces and cities across the country. 

The provincial Youth Union presents flowers and thank-you letters to the partners, organizations, and individuals who have supported the effort.

The Son La OCOP market livestream on TikTok Shop took place from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm, introducing eight products from Son La province, including Phu Yen oranges, Cham Cheo spice, BT15 and J02 rice, shelled macadamia nuts, black garlic, and smoked buffalo meat.
To support the sale of local agricultural products, HDBank offered 300 discount codes, with a total value of 40 million VND (1,575 USD).

Over the course of 4 hours, thanks to the smooth coordination between content creators and local sellers, the TikTok Shop livestream reached 4 million viewers with 1,200 orders. Products such as Phu Yen organic rice, shelled macadamia nuts, black garlic, and smoked buffalo meat were sold out during the event.

The programme provided an opportunity for businesses, sellers, and OCOP product producers in Son La to experience comprehensive e-commerce solutions on TikTok Shop. This helped local businesses, farmers, and young people actively engage in digital transformation, boost agricultural product sales, and promote tourism on the digital platform.
