The price of coffee cherries has increased compared to the same period in 2023, ranging from 16,000 to 18,000 VND (0.71 UDS) per kilogramme. All of the harvested have been purchased by local businesses and cooperatives for processing in service of domestic consumption and export.

Farmers in Phong Lai commune, Thuan Chau district, harvest coffee.

Currently, Son La province has 22,651 hectares of coffee, a year-on-year increase of 8.25%. The coffee cultivation is primarily concentrated in Mai Son, Thuan Chau, Yen Châu, and Sop Cop districts, and son La city.

Applying scientific and technical advancements, local farmers have replaced old, low-yielding varieties with new, high-yielding, and high-quality ones.
