Son La province currently has more than 82,600 hectares of fruit trees, of which over 61,170 hectares are in harvest, with an estimated total production of over 374,590 tonnes.
Some fruits that have already been harvested include plum, mango, and longan. For other types, the districts and Son La city are focusing on harvesting. To date, strawberry harvests have reached about 93% of total production; orange and tangerine 20%; grapefruit about 30%; and custard apple 93%.
