The education group saw the highest price rise at 9.53%, followed by food and catering services 8.79%, clothing, hats, and footwear 1.3%, housing, electricity, water, fuel, and construction materials 1.18%; other goods and services 1.13%; household appliances and equipment 0.45%; health care and pharmaceuticals 0.4%; and beverages and tobacco 0.24%.
The rise in commodity prices was mainly due to adjustments in tuition fees for some local colleges and universities, and a surge in domestic pork prices, which led to higher prices for processed meat products.
