The Representative Board of the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies in Son La (VBSP Son La) province held a ceremony on March 25 to launch the 2026 Savings Deposit Week in support of the poor. The event was connected online to 75 commune- and ward-level locations across the province.

The provincial Fire Prevention, Firefighting and Rescue Police Division on March 23 held a conference to disseminate regulations on the installation of automatic fire alarm transmission systems to more than 300 representatives of establishments subject to fire safety and rescue management across four wards - To Hieu, Chieng Sinh, Chieng Coi and Chieng An.

A hailstorm lasting more than 30 minutes struck Tong Xet hamlet in Chieng An ward on the evening of March 22, causing significant damage to local residents’ agricultural production.

Tay Bac University held a ceremony on March 23 to mark the 25th anniversary of the Prime Minister’s decision to establish the institution on the basis of Tay Bac College of Education (March 23, 2001 – 2026).
