Yen Chau district boosts agricultural product value

Since the start of 2024, Yen Chau district has made significant investments in agricultural processing, establishing 15 thermal drying ovens, 15 packaging facilities, and a cold drying line.

In collaboration with provincial authorities, the district has intensified efforts to promote and market local agricultural products while encouraging businesses to invest in processing infrastructure.

These efforts not only ease the pressure on the sale of fresh agricultural products but also enhance their market value.

In the ten months of this year, Yen Chau processed 190 tonnes of dried tea, 12.5 tonnes of dried bananas, 10 tonnes of dried plums, and 40 tonnes of black garlic, with a total value of over 5 billion VND (197,550 USD).
