Provincial contest honours outstanding communicators

A one-day contest for communications workers wrapped up with a ceremony held by the provincial Farmers’ Union on November 7.

Twelve teams from Son La city and districts competed in the three parts of introduction, knowledge, and talent.

Through the introduction round, the teams highlighted their units’ activities as well as farmer movements in their localities.

The teams participate in the knowledge part. 

During the knowledge round, they answered multiple-choice questions on the Party’s guidelines and the State’s policies and laws related to agriculture, farmers, and rural development, local resolutions and plans, the history of the Vietnam Farmers’ Union and its Son La chapter, and emulation movements for farmers.

At the talent round, which featured stage-based performances, the teams creatively portrayed their experience, success stories, and role models in the work, pointed to current limitations and shortcomings, and proposed solutions to them, focusing on new-style rural area building, poverty reduction, digital transformation in agriculture, and product marketing.

The team from Mai Son district wins the first prize. 

The teams from Yen Chau and Thuan Chau districts are honoured with the second prizes.

At the end of the contest, organisers presented the first prize to the team from Mai Son district, and two second prizes to those from Yen Chau and Thuan Chau districts. The third prize was granted to three teams, the consolation prizes to six teams, and two auxiliary prizes to others.
