Provincial police chief attends Great National Unity Festival

Chieng Di 1 and Chieng Di 2 hamlets of Van Ho commune held the Great National Unity Festival on November 13. Attending the event was Major General Dang Trong Cuong, member of the Standing Board of the provincial Party Committee and Director of the provincial Department of Public Security.

Chieng Di 1 and Chieng Di 2 hamlets have a total of 374 households representing five ethnic groups living together, with the Mong ethnic group as the majority. In recent years, local residents have upheld the spirit of solidarity and strived to effectively carry out the campaign “All people unite to build new-style rural areas and civilised urban areas.”

In 2025, the two hamlets supported the construction of three Great Unity Houses for disadvantaged households. The living standards of residents have gradually improved, while political security and social order have been well maintained.
