Participants were provided with guidelines for state- and provincial-level rewards; procedures for awarding and posthumously awarding the "Glorious Youth Volunteer” medal and recognition of achievements in the resistance wars; guidelines for presenting the "For the cause of building and developing Son La province" insignia; and preparing commendation proposals, as well as organizing ceremonies to award and receive various forms of rewards and emulation titles.

Attendees also had the opportunity to discuss issues related to the implementation of the Law on Emulation and Commendation 2022 and related guiding documents from both the central and provincial governments. They also clarified challenges in executing the law to ensure effective implementation of patriotic emulation movements and commendation activities within local agencies and units throughout the province.
