Vice Chairman of NA's Council for Ethnic Affairs pays pre-Tet visit to Mai Son district

Quang Van Huong, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly (NA)'s Council for Ethnic Affairs and deputy to the 15th legislature, and a working delegation visited Chieng Noi, Phieng Cam and Muong Chanh communes, Mai Son district on January 22, on the threshold of the Lunar New Year (Tet) 2025.

Leaders of the communes reported on their socio-economic development situation, and efforts to offer a warm Tet for local people, and ensure security, order and social safety before, during and after Tet.

The working delegation presents gifts to poor households and those in difficult circumstances in Chieng Noi commune, Mai Son district.

He extended his Tet wishes to the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, and officials, Party members and people of the communes. He requested local Party committees and authorities to continue paying attention to and take care of the poor and policy beneficiaries, and ensure locals enjoy a warm, joyful, safe and economical Tet.

The working delegation presents gifts to poor and disadvantaged households in Phieng Cam commune, Mai Son district.

On this occasion, the NA official and the Northern Power Corporation presented 200 gifts with a total value of 200 million VND (7,960 USD) to poor and disadvantaged households in Mai Son district. Of the total, 170 gifts were given to people in need in Chieng Noi and Phieng Cam communes.
