63 "Green House" models established to raise charity funds

The Women's Union of Tan Lang commune, Phu Yen district, has just held a ceremony to launch a "Green House" model to collect plastic waste to raise charity funds, attracting the participation of 81 members in Suoi Leo hamlet.

 

The "Green House" model in Suoi Leo hamlet, Tan Lang commune is launched.

With the motto "Give me plastic waste, cans", right after the launching ceremony, 100% of women's union members have encouraged their families and relatives to proactively collect plastic waste, paper, cans, and other types of recyclable waste to put in the "Green House".

Currently, the entire district has established 63 "Green House" models to collect recyclable waste with the participation of nearly 4,470 women's union members. As a result, nearly 6 tonnes of plastic waste, paper, and cardboard of all kinds have been collected, and sold for over 20 million VND (786 USD), which has been used to assist 60 women's union members and poor children in difficult circumstances.
